First Impression: This thing feels light, empty and cheap (like its power supply). I used it to record video from PS4 and tried to add audio via TRS. Entry. When it worked it was pretty cool. Accepted and recorded well on the mini SD card. The video quality was good, the transfer rate was fast and without lag. When it hits the 4GB limit for a file it just creates another file, very nice. The volume up/down buttons didn't help me with any configuration. This thing was always making a noise out of its tin speakers. I ended up plugging in my headphones to just shut up. The microphone sound was very low, but maybe a preamp could fix that. The signals are concatenated together, so you can't tamper with the low-level input of the microphone sound after recording. After a few weeks of light use, it blue screened one day. I pressed the hard reset button and everything worked again. meager. After a day or two, the blue screen again. Apart from this time, the reset did nothing. The brick just sits there. A shame.
