[** Edit: 10/25/20] - Lasted about 1.5 years. After about 1 year of use, I noticed that some buttons were no longer responding. I've removed all the keys for a very deep cleaning several times a year, but keystrokes for specific keys aren't registering. It started when I was about 1 year old and has been getting worse ever since. It went so far that the keyboard was no longer usable despite thorough cleaning. I have now exchanged it. Considering the price, it's probably still a worthwhile buy if you're in the market to try an entry-level mechanical keyboard. Light effects guide (one with text, one with button images). Not sure if you can see the big picture or not, but I found it handy to have a copy. which I could quickly jump to on PC instead of searching through the manual. - I've seen complaints about NumPad being smaller than average. I've attached a picture of a finished Razer Ornata Chroma keyboard cover that fits the Redragon Surara keyboard perfectly. If it is indeed smaller than usual then the Razer keyboard has the same issue, but I suspect it just looks/feels different than previous keyboards and the size hasn't really changed. -- Original -- When the keyboard is durable, powerful and backlit. etc. changes over time, I will update this post. Advantages: + LOVE instantly no need to install software to use lighting effects. (Some brands' software TOS basically state that you allow them to register a keylog even if it's not the intention, it's keylogging and sharing your data). + Buttons feel smooth. This is my first real mechanical keyboard. + Many light effects. + Bright colors. Even so, the descriptions aren't great, so you still have to go through them through trial and error to find what you like. The platform under the keys is black. If it was white/translucent it would help give off light effects better. (This replaced the Razer keyboard. The main benefit of Razer's lighting effects was that it was white under the keyboard, so that the RGB colors are more vivid even at moderate lighting levels.) stylized. There doesn't seem to be a way to sync lighting effects between Redragon peripherals. So if you change the keyboard effect, you need to change the mouse effects separately. There are no key presses, but the keyboard isn't 100% silent. It still makes a keypress noise, but it's quieter than some others I've used that weren't mechanical keyboards. Changing lighting effects: It's not as easy as software to get exactly what you want on the first try, but I really wanted to avoid installing any control software.
