I didn't want to buy a Go Pro camera and I've seen quite a few videos on You Tube on Brave 7. What really surprised me was the excellent video quality and image quality that the Brave 7 had compared to the DJI Osmo Action and Go Pro. When I opened the box, the amount of attachments that came with the Akaso Brave 7 was very unexpected. I took the Brave 7 on my boat for the first time and really liked the video quality. Wind noise cancellation was on and image stabilization worked great when the boat was sailing through the waves. I used the supplied underwater camera case and shot some videos underwater and was once again impressed when I viewed the videos on my computer. Sentence. The only thing I didn't notice was that the screen turned off during video recording, but the video was still being recorded. I contacted Akaso and received an immediate response to my request and the setting was able to be changed before Brave went into sleep mode. I wish it had a feature to keep the screen on all the time. Overall, I feel like Brave 7 delivers and see no reason to spend more than double on a Go Pro. It offers a lot in common at a great price. If you compare side-by-side videos and photos taken by Brave 7 and Go Pro or even Osmo Action, you'll have a hard time telling the difference, IMO. I doubt I'll be able to use all of the features, but I mainly use it to record golf swings, water sports, and FPV drone videos. For what I paid, the build quality, extra accessories (2 batteries) and overall great video quality are fine for the price for me.
