I use this lounge chair as cat alms. I believe if it's safe for a child then it's safe for my pets too. This product comes with side fill and vacuum seal. I like it because I can feel comfortable that it has not been exposed to any dangerous things during storage or traveling. This means you'll have to assemble it yourself when you receive it, but you should do that anyway as you'll need to wash the cover before putting your baby on it. The company advertises that this is lab tested and certified safe for children, with pictures of the certificate shown. However, this product does not come with a certificate stating this, so I'm not sure we can blindly trust this claim. Upon arrival, the item had no odor or discoloration as it was well packaged. This is the main reason I didn't give the product a five star rating: claiming lab tests were done and showing photo certificates with no concrete evidence of people going to use it on their kids is a huge mistake. comfortable and soft velvety feel. The whole lounger is reversible, you can put the baby on the printed side or slide the pillow through and put the baby on the gray side. Both have the same velvety texture. The sides are nice and high so your baby won't roll out and the bottom doesn't bind so you can still use it as your baby grows. The pad on which the child lies is not too thin, as I have seen with some deckchairs. The zippers are well hidden and reinforced with stitching to increase durability. I'm glad to see that because pulling on laundry pads can often easily cause zippers to break. It comes with a carrying case, but it's cheap. I've seen sun loungers that zip into a tote bag and I would have preferred that. Overall this is a really good sun lounger and I will feel safe putting my baby in it. I didn't give it five stars because there's no certification to back the claim that it's lab tested and certified safe, and I don't feel comfortable taking the company's word for it. At the time of writing this review, the price of the product with the coupon is around $45. I think it's a fair price as I've seen them at Target/Walmart for $60-$100. I can recommend this product at this price but I'll have to see how it lasts a few washes before I say it costs more. This is a cute and comfy budget lounge chair. It's affordable and not too scarce. Disappointed by the lack of a certificate confirming its safety, but based on its packaging I'm happy to recommend it.
