Adhesion to the surface of the product is excellent. This part should take some time. It was easy to cut to length with scissors. The problem is sticking to the intended surface that you want to make non-slip. In my application, I applied stripes to a painted sheet of plywood. I built an indoor wheelchair ramp from a garage to a neighbor's house. When I lowered the 3rd bar, the 1st bar was already loose at the edges. When I did that all the strips came off. Because I liked the grip, I decided to follow another reviewer's advice and took my pneumatic upholstery stapler and stapled the strips together. The problem is solved. So the grip on the surface is good, the grip on the intended surface is bad, bordering on terrible. There are ways to circumvent this as mentioned above.
