Surface Go comes with a compact power bank with a short cable which does the job but the downside is how it plugs into an outlet - which you most likely will need overlap one or more places on the splitter to connect. This replacement works great and fixes this issue and adds a longer cable AND a powered USB port - similar to what I've heard it comes with pricier Surface devices. I haven't had any issues with cable noise interfering with my Surface GO. I noticed that the trackpad is invisibly segmented so the right third is a "right-click" button, although you can tap with two fingers to emulate the same function. I've tried disabling this feature, but I don't see a setting for it. This is not the fault of the manufacturers of this power supply. Just an observation I made after reading other negative reviews of power adapters that indicated issues with their trackpads. Overall I am happy with the purchase and for $25. meets my needs perfectly. Pros: Storage pouch Reversible light to indicate connection USB port on mini brick for charging other devices Durability Cons: It would be nice if the USB port allowed data transfer, but that's not a deal breaker.
