Sensor is a little strange, not working quite as per the instructions. I use them in my basement in a small corner where the light doesn't penetrate very well. These lights will not flash when motion is detected, but will flash when thermal presence is detected. (They don't turn on when there's already enough light in the room or when it's not needed.) 70% of the time, these lights work just fine. It's easy to turn them on. But they don't always switch off. In the short time I've had them, I've noticed that they turn on in their little corner from time to time and linger for hours despite no one going that side of the basement. I even turn on all the lights and practically blind the thing (because it shouldn't turn on in the light) and they still won't go out. On one occasion I immediately put one of the lamps in a drawer and closed it, and it still didn't go out until the next morning. For me it's not a big problem. They're good for garages or basements where you need some light in the corner where you need to put your hands in from time to time, but I wouldn't buy them as a night light for your bedroom. If you get up in the middle of the night they will light up and go to bed expecting them to go out after a few minutes, you will wait a while for it to get dark again. In all other cases, they work literally fine. The light is bright but not blinding. I just wish they had a switch or something so I can save energy. Product.
