Easy to use
This engraving pen is only slightly thicker than a normal pen, which makes it very easy to use, especially for letter engraving or other fine work. You hold it like a pen and press the red button while cutting. You must use a gentle touch; If you press too hard it will temporarily stop, so it's perfect for soft woods. However, I tried it on some harder surfaces and it worked, but I had to work slower and more deliberately. It worked so well on softwood that I even bought two of these.
