I bought this box because I'm bad at gift wrapping and thought it would be a great alternative. Also, the box was so pretty that it might have been useful to the person I gave it to after opening their gift. This gift box was an absolute disappointment. First of all, the box lies flat when you open the package, so you have to fold it on the sides to shape it. This is normal and to be expected. However, when you start to fold the flaps of the box over, you have to be very careful because in some places they are actually glued, so the paper will tear if you're not careful. Also, the box is very rigid and not easy to assemble. It's more of a fight than a meeting. The final insult is that the box barely closes in the finished product. You cannot close the lid and tie it in such a way that the box is securely held together. The finished product is a box with gaps and jagged lines. This is far from the pretty picture and seller's description.
