For some reason I'm like a crazed killer choking my controllers while playing almost every game. As such, I destroy joysticks at a rate of around 2-3 a year. No controller can withstand my stranglehold. Eventually I was able to identify a controller (Xbox One Wireless) and joystick (this product) that would allow me to use joysticks without destroying the environment or bankrupting myself. Joystick replacement and found that the controller was easy to take apart and more importantly easy to put back together. I did this with a thick hot soldering tip and a good solder sucker. Each pad sucked dry on the first try and the solder melted fairly easily. Very easy soldering without copper braid.
