Batteries run out quickly

Very cute and funny for my kid, he's almost 2 years old. We use it in the pool and bath. In my opinion, nowhere shoots water problems enough to have fun without the mess. The only thing is that the battery seems to drain pretty quickly unless he leaves it on and drains the battery, which I don't know is possible. Overall a good choice for swimming/pool fun.
