The makeup itself - the white pigment you put on your face - is beautiful. It has a great color and is smooth and easy to apply and I can't even feel it on my face. But the pencil format is terrible. Reasons: 1) You need a very large pencil sharpener. I have a regular size Tweezerman sharpener with large holes and the large hole is still not big enough. Luckily I have a huge new pencil and sharpener that I had to use. 2) The container that holds the pigment appears to be some sort of plastic that is difficult to sharpen. It breaks off in pieces (as you can see in my photo), making sharpening uneven, which creamy makeup doesn't like. My first attempt ended with the entire makeup tip breaking. I put it in the freezer for a while and it kept the tip from breaking off, but I was still very nervous that this would happen. I also felt that a lot of material was wasted when sharpening and the cream makeup really glued the sharpener together. So if you're going to use this as an eye shadow that you really don't care about, this would be a great product for you due to the sharpness of the tip - just make sure you put it in the freezer for around 30 minutes before sharpening. However, if you plan to use it as an eyeliner like I did, don't worry. I'll be looking for something more akin to traditional eyeliner.
