They appear to be exactly the same as the joysticks that came with my original Xbox Elite controller (model 1698) and I bought them because my current joysticks will soon need to be replaced, glad for finding them I've read a lot of bad reviews about other joysticks to replace the elite joysticks (too slippery or bad magnets) and I have to tell my fellow gamers that they were definitely worth it. I couldn't tell any difference between them and the official ones and they seem to be very durable. I am very glad that I chose this product over other alternatives.
