Review on πŸ€“ Permanent Plastic Shields for Transition Glasses by Johnathan Sherman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good old school glasses.

I have to wear safety glasses to work (IT technician in a paper mill). I wore a variety of cheap plastic glasses that my employer had provided me with. I caught myself unknowingly taking off my glasses at work because the transparency of the plastic lenses is poor. I did a little research and found these glasses with glass lenses. The clarity is much better with them, I'm very happy with it. The auto dimming feature works pretty well. They don't get as dark as the special sunglasses, but they get darker and more transparent when I enter a building. They have enough horns to make you look like a hipster. Someone told me "good birth control". That's what they called (is their name?) Such glasses in the army. I docked a star because the side shields negatively affect peripheral vision. You can see movement on the periphery, but the plastic vented side panels aren't as clear as the glass lenses. I didn't feel them slipping off my nose like others do (and I live in a very hot and humid place).

Pros
  • Lens tint options
Cons
  • Small parts
