This is a great portable tripod. I used one side to mount my 10" ring light as the included table tripod was not helpful. This raises the light to a useful level and also has a second camera or phone mount. Each leg is extended to balance the weight of the two attachment points. The only downside is that it takes up quite a bit of floor space when the leg is fully extended, but offers stability for your valuable gear compared to a single telescoping pole. Phone mount included. Others I have include a high density foam liner that prevents scratches. This one is made of hard plastic but feels like it will hold the phone securely. Each mounting point includes a standard threaded mount, so other camera hardware will work just as well here. For my purposes this works very well!
