They are clearly better than some other manufacturers' heads we've bought before. Advantages:1. The bristles are much softer and more comfortable to use.2. The heads are smaller, but the density of the bristles is much greater.3. The cover style is much better than those that are open at the back and fall off too easily. Bad: 1. They don't fit the shaft completely, leaving a small gap for dirt to collect. All in all this is a very good replacement for the Philips Sonicare. If you like softer bristles, you will definitely like these. My wife and I found them much more comfortable to use than other third party heads that claimed to be "soft". The price is also very good compared to well-known branded spare parts.
