I bought this product once last year. Back then, I carefully followed the directions on the bottle and added 1 teaspoon to his food. I didn't notice a difference so I gave up after I finished the bottle. But over time - the hair on the back of my dog's head seemed to be thinning - he already has dachshund baldness - and it became quite noticeable. So I decided to try again. This time I splashed his food (not poured food, but covered it with a layer) a couple of times, and in just a few days I noticed hairs on his chest that weren't there before and small hairs sticking out from the back of his neck. If that doesn't work for your dog, try adding a little more - I use more than before, but don't freak out. I'm very happy this time.
