Update: After my evaluation, the seller contacted me and sent me a new backpack! We haven't used it yet as we have already replaced it but I was impressed with the company that monitors and takes care of my issues with the product. Bought in September 2020 for my 8th grade. They were still only in school 2 days a week and full time only after the first year. so he didn't get as much benefit as he could have had. The strap detached from the backpack by March 2021! The bag itself was great in terms of pockets and they weren't big enough for average water bottles, with the exception of the side pocket. If your child has to carry around a lot, I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use!
