My mom was allergic to the glue that holds it to her body, so instead of an open sore on her sacrum, she developed blisters and a rash where the device was placed. I have no idea if it would have done what it was designed to do because we haven't been able to use it long enough to figure it out. She wore it for less than an hour. This patch increased the suffering of the entire family by 100%. I don't think our experience is a good way to judge a product's effectiveness.
