Review on 🎧 Poyiccot 3.5mm Splitter Mic and Audio Cable: 1 to 4 Way TRRS Male to 4 Female Splitter for Earphone, Headset, Smartphone by David Batte

This splitter transmits audio with the same quality as without it. It works and it works well. However, this reduces the volume enough that I have trouble hearing sound through my headphones. The sound quality is there, but the volume is not. I turn up the volume on my laptop and headphones with built in volume controls and it's still hard to hear when playing a game or speaking on voice chat. To be honest I'm not sure how to fix this issue without just replacing it entirely and I'm a bit disappointed. As a result, the signal is divided into 4 parts, the signal level drops significantly without amplification. Therefore, if nothing is connected to ¹ of the output terminals ⁴, the volume will be reduced to amplify the signal and increase the volume. Technically it does what is advertised. However, at the time of writing this article, it is nowhere clearly stated that there will be a drop in volume so significant that it could leave the average person ill-informed. So I really think it's worth more than 3 stars, but since it doesn't clearly state its limitations I can't give it more than 4 stars.
