Ratchet straps are a cat meow.
The ratchet straps/buckles allow the strap to be adjusted in smaller increments than the normal 1 inch adjustment found on most traditional straps. The ratchet strap can be adjusted in 3/8" increments. Regular belts sometimes get a little loose or tight due to a 1" adjustment, unless you make a new hole in the belt and then this can work itself out Change weight gain or loss.
