I'm a woman and I wear thick orthotics, so buying the right shoes to put orthotics in is a big challenge. Forget normal women's shoes. So I bought these men's shoes to wear with pants of the same color to give them a streamlined look. First, men's shoes are wider and deeper to accommodate chunky orthotics, and they work really well because non-removable orthotics are flat on the inside and don't have a raised arch area. They're incredibly comfortable and durable, and the upper part over the toes and instep is slightly stretchy and responsive so it doesn't pinch or chafe. I am very satisfied with this casual shoe, the color khaki is a bit greyish and goes well with natural canvas.
