Where I live they are also advertised and used for cats. My cat is outside most of the time and usually has 5-7 mites a week. So I put my cat pet Skudo's collar on. Since then (two weeks) he hasn't had a single tick, which is a real surprise. I'm REALLY glad I found this product because the FrontLine chemicals I put between my cat's shoulder blades were uncomfortable and not irritating. work very well. As an added bonus, my cat has also stopped giving me a half-dead mouse every day. He has never caught a single mouse with a scudo on his collar. So I suspect that mice can also hear the approach. (Full disclosure: We didn't *permanently* wear a collar on it before. And it also has a little bell on the collar.) Skudo Pet seems a bit big (IMO) for a cat or small dog. But my cat doesn't seem to mind at all and it works GREAT.
