Very comfortable, like a urinal mat on the bed.
I have a puppy that likes to sleep on the bottom of the bed and I use this very nice airtight liner to protect me from insects that might pop up at night. It stays in place with the handle down and won't slide off the bed. It is nice and smooth on top and has no foreign odor. I cover it with a blanket just in case and my dog doesn't mind at all. I sprayed it with water first to make sure it's really airtight and works well in the washer and dryer. For people, pets or babies, this is a very good mattress pad. I also love the calming green color.
