Review on ๐Ÿ’ก AUXITO H8/H9/H11 LED Light Bulbs: 400% Brighter Mini Size - 80W 16,000LM Per Pair - CanBus Ready - Beam Adjustable Lamp Conversion Kit - 6500K White (Pack of 2) by Demetrius Patsion

Not even close to 8000 lumens, Nineo measured less than 6000 lumens.

A blatant lie about the rating of 8000 lumens per light, the reason I bought them. I compared them to a 6000 lumen Nineo and they had at least 30% less light output built into the beam circuit than they were installed in my Prius. The high beam had the same low power. The Nineo LEDs were $10 cheaper per pair, had quieter fans, used less power, and used more efficient LEDs because the LED element was significantly narrower than theirs. I used the Lux smartphone app for comparison. I had an actual light meter, but I didn't find it until after I sent them back. However, the Luxmeters smartphone app compares white LEDs to white LEDs, specifically those with the same color temperature of 6500K. Compared to halogen or incandescent bulbs, the phone app may erroneously give a much higher lux reading due to the very large near-infrared component of these bulbs read. I'm an engineer designing photonic circuits. Not only the near-infrared output power of thermal, incandescent, halogen, HID emitters is very high, but also the response of the standard silicon photodiode peaks in the near-infrared. Filtering out the near infrared is difficult and expensive (dielectric filters). Cheaper this is corrected by subtracting the infrared component without the visible component. One method is to measure infrared radiation with a visible light blocking diode, which is simple and cheap if colored plastic is used. Sunlight has a near-infrared fraction about half that of visible light, while an incandescent lamp has up to ten times more in the near-infrared. Another source of error besides near infrared is the color correction. Lux and Lumen are eye sensitivity corrections. One spectrum for red, green, blue cones in normal light and low light, another spectrum for cones which I think will be most important for high beam headlights.
