Terribly annoying that the connector cannot be mounted on the back of the case. I always try to find where it rolls while using the ripper, which is pretty counterproductive. The difference in price between this and a plain old seam ripper is hard for me to justify. UPDATE: I've had it for about two years now. My everyday seam ripper is now a surgical blade (I've completely modified it, give it a try!) so it mostly sits unused in the sewing box. However, I use the cap every now and then. It does a REALLY good job cleaning up the hundreds of tiny bits of thread left in the fabric after a seam breaks. So while I still think it's overpriced and poorly constructed for a seam ripper, I wanted to be clear that it does what it's advertised to do.
