HDMI to VGA cable not working. When trying to connect the HDMI output from the Mac mini to a VGA display, the display doesn't see a signal and the Mac doesn't see the display. If you use a regular HDMI-to-HDMI cable with an HDMI monitor, the Mac will recognize it. And if you use a VGA to VGA cable with an old PC, the VGA display will work. This cable just doesn't work - it's not worth it!
