I bought this hairstyle because I really needed a haircut and I decided I could do it myself as no one but my fiancee would see me. The clippers worked great even for beginners. I've only used it once, so I can't comment on the battery life. The disassembly and assembly diagrams in the (really small) owner's manual aren't great, but the only thing I had serious trouble with was assembly - it doesn't slip like a seat belt, it pushes through like you. Close the door using the small plastic tab at the bottom of the shaving head as a hinge. It's not even shown in the diagram so hopefully this will help someone avoid a 30 minute fight like mine haha. On the other hand, scissors don't cut properly. Instead, they push the hair parallel to the blade and the hair sticks together in the hinge area. Didn't think to take a picture of it because I was in the middle of a haircut and found another pair of scissors to finish it off. No scissors is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars because everything else was great. However, due to an issue with the scissors, it doesn't work as an all-in-one kit. For reference, I used elementary school safety scissors instead and they worked much better. Yes.
