Review on Jack Richeson 400107 Jackson Assorted by Rebecca Martin

I am impressed! best in purses and purses

So that's not saying much as I'm new to pastels and don't know what I'm talking about. I'm an art in elementary school and we just started working with charcoal. I fell in love with her and I think that's the direction I want to take. But to know for sure I need to work more with the medium, learn some techniques etc. I am already doing mandala coloring and have many materials. for this genre. Now I enjoy graphite and I have quality products for that too. The pastels shocked me. Yes, pens and pencils are expensive, but NOTHING like pastels! Holy cow! You must sell your first born to get professional quality pastels! The review quickly revealed the need for quality pastels versus the cheaper pastels on the market. I mean the proof was right there in the video. It's very easy to see the difference. Well, it's frustrating when you want your finished work to look a bit professional. But you have to start somewhere, and these chic pants will only have to wait for serious competitors. maybe one day I will be. but today is not the day! So I searched. And checked. And searched for more. Jack Richeson wrote his name in very professional pastel. That inspires confidence in Jack Richeson. Now I know it's NOT that brand, but Jack Richeson's name is on THIS brand too. So after researching student quality pastels (which STILL cost you $50 for 24 pens), I found that Jack Richeson chalk pastels give you most student quality pastels for less than half the price overall. It may not be trendy pastel pants but I was hoping they would give me a good idea if this is the area I want to get into. They arrived in perfect condition except for one yellow stick that was broken. I'm not upset, I mean - it's chalk. It violates. It works just as well. At first glance I thought there were 4 trays of the same 12 colors. nope! There are a few blacks and a few whites, but the colors are really pretty. I really wish they had more green and maybe a different purple, but the colors included are a small number of colors needed for both elevation and landscape work. And these colors are REALLY good! I was very pleased with the quality of these pastels. They were definitely a notch above and not the "cheapest" on the market. The amount of dust is incomparable to the cheaper kit I've used that I could compare/match. Just learning will definitely help me determine if that really is my forte. Very happy with this purchase. I got more than I paid for and will most likely be purchasing hard pastels in the near future.
