Great lighting kit: On-camera video light

Let's face it, video conferencing is the future. We've weathered a year of self-isolation and adapted to Zoom, FaceTime, Teams, and a host of other camera-calling technologies. Not to brave the stench, of course, but wearing shorts under a business top is very practical. We have adapted to the problem of video calls. It's also time for our lighting. I'm an online student and I use Zoom and Teams a lot. I love my job, but my camera has other ideas. I mean ok That little glowing dot next to the camera is very inefficient. To make matters worse, I have a large sash window behind me and a table lamp that doesn't reach my face. I moved the lamp, but this caused me to squint at the glare and only be half lit. Needless to say, I looked pretty dark and sinister in the cell. for an honest review. While I believe this review was "sponsored" by you, I will be as honest and thorough as I can. PROSI was very excited to try the lighting and get rid of the backlit spot that looked like me in zoom. It comes in an elegant box with a light, diffuser, hot shoe mount, suction cup mount, charging cable and a nice pouch to store all your belongings. The charging cable is a simple USB micro-B cable (5V) that can be taken anywhere. When it arrived I was very happy with it. Unlike the cheap products on the market today, the lantern is made of solid metal. Honestly, it was like a small, light iPhone. I was struck by the similarity between the VssoPlor light and the Lume Cube light that I saw in ads all over the internet. The only notable difference was the price (the Lume Cube is more expensive), the brands, and the accessories that came with it. VssoPlor comes with a cold shoe mount and a suction cup mount. For those not into photography, a cold shoe can be attached to the camera but does not interact electrically with it. Like the flash, the hot shoe mount communicates with the camera and can blink when it detects that the camera is taking a picture. The cold shoe mount is GREAT for constant camera lighting. But at first I didn't quite understand what it was and just used it as a stand. I currently only use it to sit upright on my desk or on the top flat part of my desktop and it works amazing! Another mount is a suction cup. Once the mount is in the desired location, you can flip a switch on the back that wraps the mug inward. As long as the mount was fixed, it could be adjusted and rotated at different angles. There was glue on the suction cup. More about this in the "Cons". QUICK NOTE: There were plastic inserts on the lamp and suction cups. Be sure to remove them before use! The light was AMAZING! It was so well done! The diffuser made the light so natural! And to be honest, contrary to my previous experience with the lamp, it wasn't all that uncomfortable to look at. I found it so powerful I could run it at 1-2% power and still look great (and get light for hours! When you turn on the light, press and hold the power button. The welcome sign will appear on the LED screen. Pay attention Be sure to hold the button down until the welcome sign disappears and the light comes on. When it turns on, you can see in the top left corner how long it can maintain that level of light. The higher the brightness, the less time you have. As I said, low power is very bright and can last forever! In the top right corner the battery icon shows how much charge is left.Below those two yellow icons are two rows of blue settings. The first is a percentage To increase or decrease the percentage, press and release the M button (aka the power button) until the blue arrow points to it > Then increase or decrease the percentage with the + and - buttons! (You can also hold down these buttons to make it higher or lower) The second blue line holds I like the light you get with cold light (max 5500K) and warm light (min 3100K) or something in between. i love this light Love. Love. Love. this light. As mentioned, my dark table now looks AMAZING in zoom. It looks so great and professional! Because it is a constant light source, there are no "intermittent" differences in light in the finished product. It's small, portable, durable. Did I mention that I like this light? DISADVANTAGES Despite my new insane love for the light, I encountered some problems. The guide doesn't have perfect English grammar, but I understood it perfectly, but I've seen way worse! Second, the instructions say not to charge it and leave it on at the same time, except in emergencies. what was weird I really needed to charge it during my sessions but didn't see many side effects other than getting REALLY HOT. If you were to charge it and leave it on at the same time, I'd make sure there wasn't anything on it that could melt, burn, or scream in pain. Another thing I noticed is that at full charge intensity there wasn't enough energy to keep up with the energy emitted by the light. I've seen it drop a few percent when charging. Not a big deal (especially if you're not using full power) but definitely something to keep in mind! In terms of hardware, the micro USB cable is located on the bottom of the flashlight. Not a big deal, but it can be difficult to maneuver the charging cable when the light on your computer is on. The suction cup is excellent. Except for the sucker. It's very sticky and wasn't easy to remove. It fell right off my computer the first time I tried it. The next two times were not filmed. This is actually very good if you plan on leaving it in a certain place, but not so great if you plan on moving it around all the time. I've found that sliding a credit card between the cup and the surface loosens the bond. Voila! I believe it could also be less sticky if it got a little dirty or reused. The pros outweigh the cons by a mile! If you're looking for a light that will help you not look like a backlit shadow, THIS is it. I highly recommend this product and I think you will like it!
