Used for chilled beverages. First, the original lid was extremely difficult to separate from the lid and has not been able to be resealed since. The lid is very difficult to put back on the jug - it takes several tries to put the lid back on the jug properly. There is no seal inside the lid so the jug will leak when pouring no matter how hard you try to prevent it.
