These are my favorite hair bands. They are big enough to go around my hair 3 times which keeps my ponytail secure. The difference between this scrunchie and the thick one, in my opinion, is comfort and visibility. I think thin hair protects your hair, but not so much that it tugs on your hair or gives you a headache at the end of the day. A thin size is also less noticeable and blends more with your hair than a thick one. Since they are thin, they will crack and break after a while of use when you twist them around your hair for the third time. They won't last forever, but they have a big back, so you'll get enough of them for a few months.
