I bought this wallet because I've read a lot about RFID scanners and identity theft and I wanted to protect myself. I can't speak to its effectiveness in blocking RFID scans, so I assume it works as advertised. The main downside, however, is that it's too narrow for anything to fit inside. I carry very few cards, maybe 8 or 9 on any given day, and very little cash, no more than 10-12 bills at any one time. and only with these things the bag is so full that it doesn't close properly and i'm afraid that it could burst at any moment. Not counting the two spare keys I always carried in my wallet, or the days my roommates gave me cash to pay bills and rent so I could take them to the bank. The big money slot doesn't have a divider, which doesn't bother, but bothers, and the transparent slot in the middle where someone can put a photo or something like that is too small to put anything in at all. the size of a credit card. It looks more like a kid's purse than anything else. Had this wallet been designed with the end user in mind, it would have been much better, but since it is too small and narrow to use comfortably, it would be better to make a different choice.
