I bought this wedge pillow because a few months ago I had spinal cord stimulator surgery and my electrodes went down and my battery didn't stay up. I'm having a second surgery and was racking my brains on how not to move while I sleep (I sleep like a fish, all over the bed). the positional wedge-shaped pads looked rather uncomfortable and rather large. Wonder! I tuck it behind my lower back and it relieves some of the pressure in my back and I don't ride anywhere! I wake up in the same position I fall asleep. I can't wait to see if this will prevent the complications I had with my first surgery! I recommend this pillow not only for pregnant women. Soft material for the case and as many have said the case it comes in is really pointless. Waste of material and profit for the manufacturing company.
