I guess I paid the minimum amount for a set of four replacement bands for my Fitbit - I got what I paid for. I bought the pink and gold set seven months ago. The two straps are mostly made of matte plastic, the color of which is mixed with plastic, so dirt just shows and wipes away. Two of them are plastic with foil on the strips and the dirt will rub off but the paint will wear off around the edges and lose some of its luster over time. The bands are not as long as the original small bands that came with my Fitbit. Longer strips are actually good; It's more comfortable because there are more holes to adjust the fit. Because these bands are made of plastic, they have a different feel than the original silicone-based bands. The clamps feel solid and fit the Alta HR well. If you need a quick and cheap replacement, they fit. If you want something high quality and trendy, you will most likely be disappointed. Let's see if they last longer than the 10-11 months of the original strips.
