I moved to Chicago from sunny and warm Oklahoma this year and quickly found that ice cream is just as common here as it is at home in the winter. Although the streets are well maintained, sidewalks and stairs are often neglected. Melting ice can't do much if you have 2 dogs and live upstairs. They are easy to put on, the extra strap is useful and easy to use. The only thing I complain about is the lack of instructions that came with it. However, if you have 10 minutes and Google, you can figure it out without too much trouble. I hope this will be my life purpose now as I have been involved in the learning process and transitioned into a much colder state. At least now I don't have to worry about walking down the icy stairs.
