Acne-prone skin might want to skip this

I have acne prone skin that is prone to dryness and I live in an arid climate. I have a hard time finding products that provide enough moisture without clogging pores or causing texture. I've had great success with the Thomas Roth Water Drench Cloud Moisturizer, but it's a bit runny in low-humidity climates where hyaluronic acid can't draw moisture from the air. I decided to try this remedy in the hope that it would work at least as well, or hopefully even better than the Cloud Cream. After about a week I noticed more texture on my skin and I felt my makeup didn't look good. all over my face My skin wasn't irritated, it seemed congested. I washed my face and skipped this moisturizer and my skin looked better. I will still use it on my neck and chest where I don't have breakouts but I want to see if the texture on my face goes away after I stop using this product. My esthetician mentioned that peptides are good for the skin, but they are active ingredients that can cause breakouts on acne-prone skin. In the past, she has suggested trying peptide products once a day instead of twice to see if your skin tolerates them better. If I try again when my skin is back to normal I will only use it at night because I don't care how it looks under makeup. It seems to make any texture more visible.
