There are limited and confusing parts and some pictograms on the box. the slide switch as shown on the box only turns the device on and off. 4 If you want it to flash like a beacon, you need to use the included remote control. The remote control is not listed on the packaging. DON'T LOSE IT. All in all, it looks like a pretty useful device. The dome is sealed with an O-ring. if you want to lug the device off the roof into a snowstorm just to turn it on, use the remote control.
