Review of: **Sunshot USB C Magnetic Charger Adapter, Type C 86W Quick Fast Charging Connector Compatible MacBook, MacBook Pro, Mote Z Google Pixel 2/2XL, Samsung S8/N8**I really loved the old magsafe power connection on the older MacBooks and was a bit disappointed when my newer MacBook Pro (2017) didn't offer this. However, this adapter *almost* replaces that functionality.The Sunshot USB C magnetic adapter works very well - it supplies power and also seems to work to plug any accessories into the MBP. (I haven't tested all types of peripherals, but my keyboard and a monitor seemed to work fine.) The green LED light indicating power is very helpful to confirm charging from across the room.The only issue I have - and the reason for giving this 4 stars instead of 5 - is that the adapter that plugs into the USB-C port on your device is so wide that it blocks the second USB-C port on my MacBook. If they had offset the plug part just a couple of millimeters to one side, you could plug this in and still use the second port. Take a look at my picture to see what I am talking about.My MBP has two ports on each side so this isn't a deal-breaker, but it would be nice not to block the second port when using this adapter. If your device has only one port, this won't be an issue for you.
