The ad says it will open and slide out 2.3 inches or 58mm, YES, but it won't hold. In my case, when I use it on a light stand, it opens and partially rotates the 1.75" tube, but it doesn't hold, slips off easily. It looks like it's worth the money if you clamp onto 1.25" or smaller hoses. On the two photos you can see that it hardly borders on the 1.75 diameter. then comes off with the slightest effort, while 1.25 inches work well. It's made in China and seems to be one of the few Chinese items sold today that had a little attention to quality before shipping. The Chinese failed miserably at writing descriptive ads worth the money if your pipe is 1.25 diameter. OR LESS
