I'm sure the top will last a long time but even if not the frame will last forever. I have two laptops here and lean on them with no problem. It feels very strong and stable. I just grabbed the top part in my hand to try and move it up and down, but the movement is very small or responsive. You can place the cup holder on either side, but the headphone holder is always on the left. The coaster is plastic and feels a little finicky for anything larger than a 16-ounce can. This is a nice big table that works great. The only issue I had was that the only hole to screw one of the legs into wasn't cut quite right, but I may have twisted it myself. I was able to get my foot in with a pipe wrench and had a spare. One thing I thought was a manufacturer of sorts was that they wrapped the plastic around the packaging foam and used a higher quality foam so it doesn't get as messy as other things you might have ordered over the years. As far as I can tell, this is probably the largest table in this price range, and it doesn't look like there are many shortcuts in terms of materials or design.
