Straps won't snap on the Ionic

Error loading media. While I like the look, the group doesn't get stuck on my Ionic. The first one I received only had one piece snapped in. I returned it and ordered a replacement. My replacement straps will not snap into my Ionic. Also, it's almost impossible to resize the strips with the tool provided. That's where they really got stuck. These tapes are defective, I do not recommend.
