Review on AKG K72 Pro Audio Studio Headphones in Matte Black – Over-Ear, Closed-Back Design for Superior Sound by Dave Giri

Bought to listen to EDM chillout while working on the computer. I always listen to Youtube, so I'll probably never need the K92's higher frequency response. I can't imagine anything sounding better than this. I'm not a professional sound person or anything. I just love relaxing music while sitting at the computer. Portability didn't interest me. A permanently connected audio cable also eliminates cable rattle, and fewer connection points are simply better in my opinion because they can eventually fail. They also insulate sound well. I bought these along with some leather/velour hybrid memory foam pads. The wearing comfort is phenomenal. They replaced my $250 Harmon/Cardons and the comfort is much better. The brainwave pads are a bit difficult to stretch, but once you put them on they are very secure. The pads don't touch the ears at all, which is what I wanted.
