I love this bag! My 17" laptop measures 16 1/2" x 11" when closed and easily fits in a 1/2" laptop bag. spare part. It's a bit counterintuitive, but the laptop doesn't fit in the center of the zip pocket as others have mentioned. The middle pocket is too small due to the zipper. It comes in one section with a strap that attaches with Velcro. The bag is large enough for a power cord and mouse, as well as a wallet, phone and a couple of files or a thin laptop. You can't wear your gym clothes. Yoga mat and lunch in it. I wanted a bag big enough for a large laptop but not so big that I could carry some of my luggage. They're not easy to find. This one is right up your alley due to its sleek design. Overall, the bag looks very high quality, especially for the price. It's definitely good enough to take to a business meeting. It looks like real leather. Of course it smells like leather. I will be buying another one to carry around in the summer months. I have purple and the color is true to the picture.
