I've been repairing tires on my big trucks for 41 years. During that time I had about 4 patches. 2 at a tire shop and 2 at my own where I prevented the cement from fully curing before patching. (probably the same problem in workshops). These just don't fit. Everything done right. The first let go at a corner and began to flow. Made new. The cleanup took longer. The next started leaking within 24 hours. He too ran into a corner. Patches removed, cleaned and purchased at another store. No more problems. These patches are supposed to be for radial tires but they are very stiff. I think the lack of flexibility makes them loose. The tire wound was in the center of the tread and was made with a small drywall screw.
