Ordered these quickly after my 5 year old girl broke her fingers due to a thick seam on her tights. These tights have a seamless toe which was great but they have two large uncomfortable seams that run around her butt to her inner thigh which gave her problems. I get that there has to be a seam somewhere, but calling it seamless and solving tricky, childishly difficult problems is misleading. As for sizing, based on other reviews I ordered her current size and up the size to see which fits best. 6-8 was a bit big but gave her room to grow. The next smaller size (her size) didn't fit snugly. The color was as expected but they weren't as soft as I was hoping. My daughter didn't care, so everything is fine. I'll have to see if she wears them and may have to return them because of the back seam. She will have to decide which stitch bothers her more; toe or sacrum. There's also a rather prickly label to look out for if your child has trouble with it. The material that makes up the label is a real paper material, which makes a lot of noise. All in all, not a bad pair of tights if you're looking for an organic material and your child is totally relaxed with tight edges and seams. I would say they are medium to slightly thick. Let's see how they behave after wearing and washing.
