Review on πŸ‘¦ Perfectly Suitable Children's Replaceable Buttons: An Ideal Choice for Kids by Melissa Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sewing job done

One thing I noticed when comparing different kits for replacing these buttons are the two types of tabs, one straight, one ribbed. I could be wrong but I think the straight version only attaches by bending inwards whereas in this style the ribs are pressed into the button with no mechanical intervention which seems more solid. Two hits with the rubber mallet, two jeans fixed, the remaining 48 sets are in the gravy as the repair cost has already dropped to $4. I recommend a hammer so you don't have to cover the button. I also think it's important that the button sits straight up and down on the open end of the button and then hammers straight down on the button - it's a balancing act, but if something doesn't line up I'm not sure. the results will be good.

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • Some mistakes
