The walls I installed it on are soft (no funny remarks please) - so installation was a little more awkward than usual. The attached photo would have helped me - maybe it will help someone else. Dimensions: The original outlet cover was 2.75" wide and 4.50" high. :one. Turn off the circuit breaker2. Make sure the terminal screws (2 on each side) are tight3. The SPGL2 pins should line up with the bottom screws on each side, just below the center line of the screw that secures the cover to the base. My best bet was to run the wire UNDER these terminals and push the point of contact outward. When you are ready to test it after turning on the circuit breaker, make sure to place your finger/hand on the sensor on the lower left side of the front panel to simulate darkness. If too much light falls on this sensor, you'll think it's not working properly.
