This is a thin waterproof inner mat that should be used in conjunction with a soft mat. I was looking for a small changing pad that is easy to clean, carry and store to protect the changing surface from poop stains and frequent washing. This liner is perfect for that. It's not very big but I just needed something big enough for my baby's small butt. My only complaint is that the liner is so flimsy that when I slide a clean diaper under my baby, the liner shifts and gets a bit tangled.
