This skirt is made of thick double jersey. Thick enough to hide some imperfections but not so thick that it looks square. And not as thin as the fabric of a t-shirt. The colors are rich and come very close to the picture. I actually bought a pink sweater just using the picture to match the colors and I was surprised at how accurately they matched. FYI: Cabbage roses are a light to medium shade of dusty rose. I recommend this skirt to anyone looking for a classic skirt for more formal occasions. FYI, I bought the skirt one size larger than my usual size so the skirt would shrink a bit. It didn't work very well. The skirt gave me a little more hip room than I expected, although I kept it - I made it fit my body, not someone else's. I recommend this skirt to anyone looking for a skirt that fits their needs well, look no further.) FYI: The reason for the 4 stars was the fit. I want to see a standard fit that runs true to size.
